What brand and model of your computer?

You are in a home or corporate network?

First time I suggest you follow the procedures below:

Uninstall antivirus.

 The virus can in some cases stop the updates for not recognizing the update as a trusted program, so the need to remove it.

  •     Press Windows + R keys, type appwiz.cpl, and click OK;
  •     Find the list antivirus you are using;
  •     Click the right mouse button on the program and the Uninstall option;
  •     Restart your computer.
Note: Many antivirus have their own removal tool. Visit the Software installed for more information. Your system will not be unprotected because Windows has its own security system that automatically enables so restart your computer.

Safe Mode

Safe mode starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and services. If a problem does not reappear when you restart your PC in safe mode, consider that the cause of the problem is not in the default settings and basic device drivers and services.

  •     Press Windows + R and write MSconfig.
  •     Click the System Startup tab.
  •     And check the Safe Boot option Network and Video Base option.
  •     Press Apply and OK, now click the option to restart now.
Once you start in safe mode, change the resolution.

Note: Rerun step to start in safe mode but uncheck the safe boot option.

If the behavior continues, perform the next procedure.

Perform a Selective Startup.

  •     Press Windows + R and write MSconfig;
  •     Click the General tab;
  •     And check the Selective Startup option and the option Load System Services;
  •     Press Apply and OK, now click the option to restart now.
If the behavior continues, perform the next procedure.

New user profile.

Your user profile is a collection of settings that make your computer has the look and function the way you want. It contains your settings backgrounds desktop, screen savers, pointer preferences, sound settings and other features. Because of this variety and personal settings and changes caused by other programs can cause your user profile corruption and malfunction in the use of the system so the need for a new profile.

  •     Press Windows + X keys, Control Panel;
  •     Click User Accounts and protection p / family;
  •     Click user accounts;
  •     Click Manage another account;
  •     Now click Add a new user to the computer configurations;
  •     Add the name for the new profile and add as administrator.

Update drivers.

Enter your computer manufacturer's website to update the video driver and chipset restart your computer and try again.

Restore the IP address.

  •     Press Windows + X keys, and then click Command Prompt in the search box then click Command Prompt.
  •     At the command prompt, type ipconfig / release and press Enter. This releases your current IP address.
  •     At the command prompt, type ipconfig / renew and press Enter to get the new IP address.

Restart the computer and test if the behavior continues, perform the next procedure.

 Add the Windows Update link as reliable.

  •     To do this click Start and Control Panel;
  •     In the control panel click Network and Internet Internet Options;
  •     Internet options click the Security tab and Trusted sites;
  •     Trusted sites click the Sites button;
  •     Now deselect the View server verification button (https :) for all sites in this zone and in the Add this website to the zone insert the links listed below and click the Add button.
  1.     http: //*.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
  2.     http: //*.windowsupdate.com
If the behavior continues, perform the next procedure.

Change DNS.

  •     Click Control Panel, Network and Internet, Network and Sharing Center;
  •     Network and Sharing Center click Change adapter settings;
  •     Now click with the right mouse button on Ethernet and select Properties will open the Properties window select Ethernet TCP / IPv4 click the Properties button.
  •     On the General tab Select Use the following DNS addresses:
  1.     Preferred DNS server: 4.2.2.2
  2.     Alternate DNS server: 4.2.2.4
Test and see if the behavior is repeated.
